Shipping and payment terms
1. Delivery area
I ship my products to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway and Luxembourg.
Delivery to other countries worldwide is available on request. Please contact me before placing your order at saskia.taheri@web.de and let me know which product you would like and the destination country.
I will check whether delivery is possible and provide the shipping costs, payment terms and delivery time in an individual offer. Delivery to other countries is made by corresponding agreement.
2. Shipping costs
The following shipping costs apply to the ordered goods:
-
Germany: Free of charge.
-
Austria: Flat rate of €25.00.
-
Switzerland: Flat rate of €29.00.
-
Norway: Flat rate of €40.00.
-
Luxembourg: Flat rate of €25.00.
For deliveries to other countries, shipping costs are calculated individually based on the destination and the size of the shipment and communicated to you before you submit your binding order.
3. Import charges and customs duties
Deliveries to countries outside the European Union, particularly Switzerland and Norway, may incur additional costs. These include, for example, import VAT, customs duties and the shipping provider's customs clearance fees.
You are responsible for these costs unless they are expressly included in the stated total price or a different arrangement has been made in the individual offer. Where applicable, these charges are collected by the relevant authorities or the shipping provider.
Statutory provisions apply to responsibility for the costs of returns or unaccepted shipments. Information about return costs when exercising an existing right of withdrawal can be found in my withdrawal policy.
4. Production time and delivery
Production generally takes 2–4 weeks from receipt of payment and, where required for production, receipt of the clothing sent to Handmade by Matima.
If both conditions must be met, production time begins once both payment and clothing have been received.
Transit time to the destination country is additional to production time. The delivery period applicable to your order will be communicated to you in the online shop or in the individual offer before you submit your binding order.
If delays occur after the contract has been concluded, I will inform you without delay. This does not automatically extend an agreed delivery period. Your statutory rights in the event of delivery delays remain unaffected.
5. Payment options
The secure payment page shows the online payment methods available for your order. These may include:
-
PayPal
-
Klarna
-
Apple Pay
-
Google Pay
-
Bank transfer (payment in advance)
The payment methods available for your specific order are shown during the ordering process. For individually agreed orders, the payment options are set out in the offer.
Payments are processed by the selected payment service provider or, in the case of bank transfers, by the banks involved.
Bank transfer is only available for individually agreed orders by prior arrangement. If payment in advance has been agreed, you will receive the bank details and payment information as part of the order process. Production begins after receipt of payment and, where required, receipt of the clothing you send in.
6. Retention of title
The delivered goods remain my property until payment has been made in full.
7. Custom-made items and the right of withdrawal
Many of my products are made individually to your specifications or personalised.
Under Section 312g(2), no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for goods that are not prefabricated and whose manufacture is determined by your individual choice or decision, or that are clearly tailored to your personal requirements.
Your statutory rights in the event of defects remain unaffected.
Further information can be found in my withdrawal policy.
8. Damaged shipments
Please check the shipment for obvious damage in transit upon receipt.
If you find any damage, please report it to the delivery driver as soon as possible and inform me at saskia.taheri@web.de.
This request helps me pursue claims against the transport company. If you do not complain to the delivery driver or contact me, this does not affect your statutory rights, in particular your statutory rights in the event of defects.
