Questions about your keepsake

Which clothes are suitable?

Bodysuits, T-shirts, sweatshirts, pyjamas, dresses and trousers. Chunky knitwear and tights are not suitable. Please only send socks, hats and other small items after discussing them with us first. An additional appliqué may be possible for 20 €. Saskia will discuss feasibility and any extra cost with you beforehand; nothing is added automatically.

How can I preserve my favourite design?

Mark any clothes that are especially important to you. Include notes about your favourite designs, your name and order number in the parcel. Saskia will accommodate your wishes wherever the fabric and design allow. Additional appliqués will be discussed beforehand.

Will I get unused clothes back?

Yes. All clothes that are not needed will automatically be returned intact. You can also have larger fabric offcuts returned; choose this option on your product page.

Where do I send my clothes?

After ordering, you will receive all the information you need to send your clothes. Address: Handmade by Matima, Saskia Taheri, Am Mühlenfließ 39, 15234 Frankfurt (Oder). Include your name and order number. Please only send clean clothes.

When does the making time start?

Making your keepsake usually takes 2–4 weeks from receipt of your clothes and payment, plus shipping time. Please agree on any fixed gift deadline before ordering.

How much does shipping cost?

We ship your finished keepsake free of charge within Germany. Austria and Luxembourg: 25 €, Switzerland: 29 €, Norway: 40 €. Additional import charges may apply for Switzerland and Norway. Other countries are available on request. You arrange sending your clothes to Matima yourself.

How do I care for my keepsake?

According to the existing care instructions, washable at 30 °C. Do not tumble dry; gently reshape while damp and leave to air dry.

What happens with special requests?

We will discuss the feasibility and price of special requests first. Additional services are only commissioned by agreement.
