Memory hoodie from baby clothes: fabric, lettering and ordering
A memory hoodie combines a new hoodie with a piece of your story: the lettering is made using the clothes you send in. The hoodie itself is not sewn from the old garments.

Which clothes work for the lettering?
Bodysuits, T-shirts and sweatshirt fabrics can be suitable. Large prints, pictures and logos do not work well on the small letter shapes. Choose fabrics whose colour or pattern reminds you of the garment. Please do not send chunky knitwear or tights.
How much clothing do I need?
The amount of fabric depends on the lettering and the usable area of your clothes. The product page provides clothing guidance. If you want to use just one small or particularly precious garment, discuss its suitability with Saskia before ordering.
Which size and colour can I choose?
Children’s and adult sizes are available. Colours depend on the size you select. Compare the size chart with a hoodie that fits well, then choose your lettering.
How much does a memory hoodie cost?
The memory hoodie starts at €99. The configurator shows the price of your selection and any extras before you order. Delivery of the finished hoodie within Germany is free; you send your clothes to Matima yourself.
When will my hoodie arrive?
Within Germany, the current time from receipt of your clothes to delivery is 4–6 weeks, including shipping. This period starts when your clothing parcel arrives at Matima. Please discuss any fixed deadline before ordering.
Memory hoodie or embroidered hoodie?
A memory hoodie uses your own fabric in the lettering. The partner hoodie set uses regular embroidery for your chosen text, so no clothes need to be sent in. Choose based on whether you want to preserve a fabric or wear personalised embroidered text.
