Design a fabric school cone and keep it as a cushion
Your fabric school cone accompanies your child on their first day of school and can become a memory cushion afterwards. Here are the choices to consider before you start designing.

35, 70 or 85 cm?
At Matima, you can choose between 35, 70 and 85 cm. The available designs depend on the size: small Matima iron-on designs are for 35 cm cones, while large designs are for 70 and 85 cm cones. You will only see designs that suit your chosen size.
Three fabric sections or one fabric throughout
You can design the top, middle and bottom separately or choose the same fabric for all three sections. The fabric search shows pictures from the publicly available Oderlandstoffe range. Selecting a fabric records your preference; suitability and availability are checked before your cone is made.
Matching the school bag
For original school bag fabric, enter the brand and exact model or design name. The surcharge is 15 € per school cone. Original fabrics are subject to availability. If a fabric is sold out, we will agree on an alternative or cancellation with you.
Personalisation and placement
A name, school starting year or another message makes your school cone personal. Please also specify whether the personalisation should go at the top, middle or bottom, or choose to agree on the placement with Saskia.
What does delivery week mean?
Your school cone will be finished and dispatched during your chosen calendar week. This does not guarantee that it will arrive in the same week. Please allow for shipping time afterwards. Matima can make a maximum of eight school cones per week.
After the first day of school
Remove the cardboard insert and put the matching cushion inside. The fabric cover can be washed inside out at 30 °C. Remove the cardboard insert before washing.
